1. Strawberry Festival

The 79th annual Strawberry Festival takes place on June 20th, from noon until 6pm. This event will be held at South Bay Grange and is fun for everyone. Food will be served all day, including hot dogs, hamburgers, and of course, strawberry shortcakes! As usual, there are a ton of other treats and activities to take part in. This year, there is a 5k walk/run, with raffle prizes, and age group winners! All proceeds will go to BKMP Children’s Theater Program, so head on over to the Strawberry Festival. A great time, for a great cause.

2. US Open National Golf Championship

For the first time in history, the US Open National Golf Championship is coming to the pacific Northwest! Sounds exciting right? Taking place at Chambers Bay Golf Course, this is one you don’t want to miss. Whether you’re a huge golf fan or not, this is an exciting experience to be apart of. Take your kids, or enjoy a nice day out, this is about to be one to remember!

3. America’s Dixieland Jazz Festival

Experience the 25th annual, Dixieland Jazz Festival at St Martin’s Pavilion! Every year, this non-profit organization by the name of The Greater Olympia Dixieland Jazz Society, sponsors this event, in the hope to preserve and promote the live performance of Dixieland Jazz. Join in on their efforts, and enjoy the awesome music, while having a great time! Bring your family, or come with a date, fun will be had by all!

4. Olympic Air Show

The Olympic Flight Museum is hosting their 17th annual Olympic Air Show, on June 27th and 28th! Featuring Renny Rice, a retired Airline Captain and his air acrobatic performance. Flying his SU-29, through the air with ease, is only one of many exciting things to look forward to at this event. You’ll also see aviation enthusiasts such as Bud Granley – The Family Airshow, and The Smoke-n-Thunder Jet Car driven by Bill Braack! Get ready for the race of a lifetime, as The Smoke-n-Thunder Jet Car races, the plane above the runway! You don’t want to miss this!
